I use SiteGround for my blog hosting and recommend them because my personal experience with them has been amazing! I love their 24/7 live chat support (a “must have” for me) and they are always willing to help with those technical tasks that aren’t so easy if you’re not a professional website developer.

They are one of the most popular and highly rated hosting companies out there, yet still affordable. Check out the infographic shown at the very bottom of this page for some stats if you’re a “show me” type of person.

What impressed me the most was the fact that the biggest group for SiteGround is people who have already tested 3 – 5 companies!

Did I mention that SiteGround is affordable? For less than what you would normally spend on one carry-out pizza per month, you can get first class WordPress hosting with stellar support.

There are many terrific resources for stock photography to be used on blogs and social media, but the one that I will always recommend first is IvoryMix. The easiest way to explain why is just to share this note I sent to Kayla, the creative force behind IvoryMix. It says it all. 🙂

“Just wanted to say thank you for the amazing free stock photos!  They are on point for so many reasons – fresh, fun, and fabulous!  I LOVE the variety, the colors and the cohesiveness of the brand packages.  It’s easy to think of so many ways that they can be used – not only by bloggers, but for anyone on social media these days. With the current Pinterest craze and with everyone looking to build a brand on Instagram, your stock photos are one of those things that makes building your biz easy and fun.  You are so generous, not only with your amazing photography talents, but also as a person.  It is so obvious to me how you listen to ‘your people’ and give the gift of your photography abundantly from the heart.  Thanks again!”

IvoryMix offers new free stock photos every month, bundles, a monthly subscription option and even custom photos for your brand only.

I use Spokal to schedule posts for my Facebook page, my Facebook groups and for Twitter. I love that I can schedule the daily threads in my Facebook group and automatically tweet my best content on a recurring schedule. I tried Buffer, Hootsuite and CoSchedule too, but of those four, Spokal is definitely my favorite. I use the Social Solo plan, which is one of their Social Media Automation plans, not a Full Inbound Marketing Automation plan.

I use Feedly to follow and read my favorite blogs and to curate content to post with Spokal. Anything that I save to my Spokal knowledge board is available to schedule in Spokal. All you have to do is connect your Feedly account to Spokal, read in Feedly, and save to your Spokal knowledge board. You will need to create a ‘Spokal’ knowledge board in Feedly first.

All posts tagged with ‘Spokal’ will be saved under the Feedly tab in your Spokal calendar and you then you can schedule it manually (drag and drop) or add the post to recurring content for automatic sharing.

I use BoardBooster for its awesome looping feature, which repins your old pins to the same board, so that new followers (or even old followers that didn’t see them when they were originally pinned) have a chance to see them.

I also use BoardBooster’s random campaign feature to automatically pin my existing pins to group boards, which is a great way to get your content in front of an audience that doesn’t necessarily follow you or your boards. This feature results in both re-pins and new followers and is great for driving traffic from Pinterest to your website.
